Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop 2020

This is a fun treasure hunt hosted by Jo at Serendipitous Stitching. Check out her blog to get the starting point, and then you go through a series of blogs to gather letters, which you then (hopefully) make a phrase out of! It's rather good fun, and a great way to visit some new blogs.

So as part of this blog hop, I need to post something I have stitched on an Easter or Spring theme. This may be very quick and involve a bit of shoe-horning! I tend to stitch really big pieces, and any little ones I used to do were pre-blogging so I have no pictures.

However, I did stitch this cute little dragon with an egg. It feels very spring themed as I am Welsh, and St David's Day is 1st March, so I associate dragons with Wales and spring. He also has an egg, which could be a tasty chocolate egg! (fantastic shoe-horning going on here!). Not long after I stitched this, my little sister sent us a card with the exact same design that she had stitched - great minds thinking alike there!

Not quite stitching, but I did make this quilt for my friend's baby.

I used Lewis and Irene's Whatever the Weather fabric, so there is some lovely spring themed fabric in it:

And lastly, I could shoe-horn in another non-stitching piece. My Tilly and the Buttons Rosa dress. The material is perfect for spring!

Onto important matters. My letter for this Blog Hop is:

And the next blog to hop to is:

Happy Treasure Hunting! Keep safe and well

Bethan, The baby quilt is so pretty and what a coincidence that you and your sister stitched the same dragon! Did you make the dress too?? Such pretty fabric.

A dragon, I love dragons and this one has a lot of character small as it is. Also nice to meet a dual crafter, cross stitch and patchwork / quilting.

Oh, I love your little dragon! Maybe adding a daffodil or two would really make him a Welsh dragon?! Where did you get the pattern from?
Such a beautiful quilt and your dress is perfect for the spring, very colourful!
Have a blessed Easter.
