Only 12 Years Late...

This is a cross-stitch that my sister started just before - you guessed it - the Millennium. Two years ago, I took it off her. And here it is, completely finished, outlined and I even learnt how to french knot.
Quite pleased with it!

Slow Progress

Well I haven't really done well posting on here!
But my teaching is almost over, and I have a nice long summer to enjoy. So I have a few aims for the summer that I want to complete:

  • Find and move into a flat in Ely ready for the start of my job
  • Complete my cross stitch
  • Learn to crotchet
  • Save up through Dooyoo for a nice shiny tablet
  • Loose about 2 stone - and I have so far managed 2 pounds!
And at the minute I'm supposed to be writing an essay - so should be more productive!

Well I have decided to start a blog - mainly because I have found it's a good way for my family to keep track of each other - and someone may find my ramblings interesting!
Going to try to talk about things other than teaching, like books I've read, and some crafting I've gotten into. And probably ice hockey!
